Yep , cannot wait for some decent rain to soften the ground around here . As well as easier digging wet ground makes more signals available for my vlf units , and, puts a few snakes to bed .

It's more like normal Autumn weather here now.
I dug an Aussie relic a few weeks age. A brass keg tap for wooden beer kegs. Thought it was some random plumbing out in the field but looked it up later. Has a makers mark that brings up nothing but it's a typical design from maybe early last century. Cheers!

Lovely barrel tap Karl , and not broken either . Usually the tap handle is broken from a miss directed hammer swing . Is this your first one ? They come in at least four sizes and were used for many liquids including beer ,rum , molasses etc . A ripper addition to a relic hunters collection , looks like you are onto a good old site .
