The new minelab GoFind 20-40-60 treasure detector has not been released yet but you can pre-order.
Price is expected to be from $199
Portable, lightweight, Affordable detecting

Looks good, could not go wrong for $200.

Perfect timing. My kids are all keen to go get some, but its been hard finding a detector that will fit them and work, that's not a toy.
The minelab Go-find 20-40-60 will be perfect for them to use i think. Lightweight and adjustable length, waterproof and smartphone apps and seem to be as simple to use Treasure / Adventure detector.

I pre ordered one of each and they should be here next month for testing. I will let you know how they go when they arrive.

Hi Phil,

Just wondering if you got around to testing these and how they went? I am in now way able to afford thousands on a detector yet and if these are worth trying out for a beginner I might consider getting one for myself and a mate
